Health Minister Veena George announced that Kerala has a significantly higher awareness and utilization of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) health branches compared to the national average. Awareness levels are at 99.3% in urban areas and 98.4% in rural areas of the state.
