- This is the second time in a week when the prime minister will address the country on coronavirus.
- Nearly 500 coronavirus cases have been reported in India so far, according to data released by the health ministry today.

No public transport but private vehicles allowed only 4 emergency.

Kerala Govt decided to close all bars across state till further orders. Restrictions will be imposed on beverage shops too.

Kerala High Court declared holiday till 08.04.2020. Only urgent matters such as sentence suspension, custody, Habeas Corpus, bail and anticipatory bail will be taken up on Thursdays and Fridays till 08.04.2020

Use the non-dominant (i.e. your left hand, if you are right handed and vice versa) hand for door knobs, transport, bathrooms, etc. Because it is very difficult for you to touch your face with that hand. But always wash your hands.

Kerala Govt issued prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC have been imposed in Kasaragod and Kozhikode districts of the state to restrict gathering at public places
Two districts in Kerala will go for total lockdown: Kasargod and Kozhikode.

Kerala prohibits public gatherings
Kerala Govt on Saturday issued stringent regulations under the Epidemic Disease Control Act of 1897 to restrict public gatherings. All religious and cultural events, tournaments and group matches are prohibited.

Indian Railways has cancelled 3,700 trains for JanataCurfew March22 Sunday. No trains will start from Saturday night 11:59 PM to Sunday night 10:00 PM.
Kerala directs govt employees to work part-time for 2 weeks. School and college teachers do not have to go to work.

Kerala govt imposes major restrictions on Kasaragod. All offices including government shut for a week. Shops allowed from 11 am to 5 pm. Public not allowed to gather in public places, parks etc. Says strong possibility of widespread outbreak and so anyone violating rules to be prosecuted.
